Reason of the trip was American Culinary Federation National Convention. This year it was in Orlando, Florida. Every year it's in different states when all chefs get together. Don't think I am chef, my husband is a chef and I fortunate to go with him to all the events.
Orlando is not only Disney Land and Universal Studios! My first day I went to my favorite place Gaylord Palms Resort.
So many-many pictures to show you. Here I’m in Everglades section of the resort..
Found little Italy with cobblestone streets and cute houses in central Florida. This one is other section of the Resort. Every section presented with architecture, food places and nature replica.
Atrium is a center of the resort with huge space under the glass roof.
Come to Pirate Party they said... Am I looking enough like old drunk pirate?
Just kidding guys. I was going to the welcome reception at ACF Convention. Pirate Party was the theme.
Every day was spontaneous rains, so my plans to visit Volcano Bay -New Water Park was unsuccessful. Instead I checked Downtown Orlando and wasn't impressed at all. It has no face at the day time. Folks explained that Downtown Orlando more popular at nighttime.
That's why my evening I spent with family and friends (Naples Chefs) at Top Golf in Orlando. It was new experience for me to play golf. 3 Floor building - driving ranges from every floor with shop, cafe, and bar behind it. All under air and you could play till midnight. Cool.
Also beautiful overview to Orlando Eye - The Wheel at ICON Park. At dusk all illuminations, The Eye, Sunset - all together was unbelievable evening.
At the same time I did photoshoot for "I Workout For" the new campaign by Rohnisch. Fitness club at Marriott World Resort in Orlando where we stayed was perfect place for it.
You can check post about this campaign here.
Behind the pool I found the oasis where I can stay away from the sun and catch some breeze.
I dressed up for ACF Presidential Grand Ball and Dinner. Theme was “White Hot Havana Nights”.
I prepared for every occasion in our trip, so here is more of my outfits. If you would ask me about my fave style for the last time, I would tell you that it’s a suit in any combination!
