Let me show you how I spent three amazing days in Chicago at the end of the May. I visited all must see touristic places in downtown. So, lets start!
At first day I checked in at Hilton Chicago on Michigan Avenue, right next to all attractions I would like to visit. I planned my visit and where to go, and was ready to explore the city, but unfortunately it was rainy. As I am having plan "B" always, I decided to enjoy this evening at the jazz club. Five minutes to Google and voila - I am at Andy's Jazz Club.
On a way back to hotel I take a walk on State Street and took some pictures of the city. Beautiful view from the bridge and very cozy restaurant right over the waters. I wished I wanna eat there. Next day my wish comes true and I was eating at this restaurant.
This is the view from the restaurant Smith and Wollensky's Grill on opposite side of the river.
I was very surprised how beautiful flower beds were in Chicago. Designed with LED lights.
One of the tourists attraction is river walk among Chicago river. It's worth to spend your time here to enjoy the views.
Second day I definitely went to the "Bean" at Millennium Park.
Because my hotel was across Millennium Park, I was here every day and was enjoying these beautiful blooming threes. I was lucky and blessed to be at this time when all Chicago was in flowers and blossoms. Aromas were unbelievable!
Another destination in my bucket list was Navy Pier. Absolutely must spend time and walk around a few hours.
Third day I went to check the Magnificent Mile. Also, I was interested to see John Hancock Center, Old Water Tower, Willis Tower.
If you plan to visit Chicago you should be prepared for weather surprises. My first day was rainy, second was hot, rainy, and cold to the end of the day, and third day was extremely cold. I have to wear three layers.
